You’ll be able to wear your wedding attire again or just come as you are and pick a spot you love without having to worry if it’s the right spot for everybody else.

Most couples opt for a pre-wedding photoshoot to feel more comfortable about being in front of the camera which we think is a great idea, but a post-wedding photography session could offer you so much more! Of course, it’s super exciting to use pre-wedding photos on your actual wedding day or on your save the dates but just think about how much more exciting it will feel to spend some quality time together on a mini-adventure in your stunning wedding attire!

Post-wedding photography sessions can also take the stress away if you’re worried about what the weather will be like on your actual wedding day. Although – we always advise to not worry about the weather too much, bad weather can make for awesome pictures! And of course rain on your wedding day is good luck, meaning your marriage will be a long & happy one!

Maybe you’re planning a super low key affair and your location just doesn’t really have that epic backdrop you’re dreaming of? or you want to spend more time with your family and friends on your big day, but you also don’t want to miss out on some EPIC photo opportunities? Maybe you’ve rented out your venue for the weekend, so it’s ideal to take the opportunity to make the most out of the location!

Even if you do have an amazing wedding planned and you really do like your photos from the day, it’s worth considering swapping a pre wedding session for a post-wedding one and to get some epic photos of just the two of you that aren’t so rushed and something you can really enjoy. After all, it’s not easy trying to fit a relaxing couple session into the short space between the ceremony and the reception. Taking the time to get some other photos with no rushing or pressure of time and wanting to spend that precious time with your guests, can be a fun experience resulting in beautiful photos from a post-wedding photoshoot.

A post-wedding session is a great opportunity to spend some quality time together, exploring a beautiful location, maybe one that means a lot to you both and making some great memories. You could even dress up again if you wanted to, what a great opportunity to have some fun in your wedding attire you have spent so much money and time choosing!
